Settings to Change Before Calibration - HD408 Autosteer
Consider changing these settings prior to Quick Calibration
- Switch to Imperial units
- Enable Manual Steering override
1. Access System Settings 0:01
- Start by navigating to the settings menu.
- Locate the settings icon in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.
- Go to 'System' and then select 'System Configuration'.
- Change the measurement units to 'Imperial' to ensure correct measurement inputs during calibration.
- In the same menu, you can also:
- Enable voice broadcast for audio feedback.
- Activate the U-turn display feature if desired.
- After making your changes, press 'OK' to save.
- Navigate back to the main menu and select 'Advanced Calibration'.
- Scroll down to find 'Manual Steering Override'.
- Turn this feature 'On' to allow manual control of the steering wheel while in auto steer.
- Set the value between 1 and 4 for quick override response.
- A higher value will require more force to override the system while Autosteering is active
- A higher value will require more force to override the system while Autosteering is active
7. Finalize Settings 1:20
- Press the green check mark to save your settings.
