Objective
This SOP outlines the steps to calibrate the spreader tank on the Agras T30 drone to ensure accurate product distribution during operation.
Key Steps
1. Setup the Drone 0:01
-
Place the Agras T30 drone on a stable surface, preferably a tote for better stability.
-
A 5-gallon bucket can be used, but totes are recommended for their size.
2. Remove the Spinner 0:16
-
Detach the spinner from the bottom of the tank to allow the product to flow directly into the tote.
3. Prepare Calibration Tools 0:35
-
Obtain a scale that can support a 5-gallon bucket or a bucket scale to weigh the product.
4. Start Calibration Process 0:44
-
Turn on the drone and navigate to 'Execute Task'.
-
Access 'Settings' and then 'Spreader System Settings'.
-
Ensure the tank is empty and check that the empty tank spinner is functioning.
5. Perform Empty Tank Calibration 1:10
-
Select 'Empty Tank Calibration' and hit 'Calibrate'.
-
If the tank is not empty, this step cannot be completed.
6. Tear Calibration 1:21
-
After the empty tank calibration, perform 'Tare Calibration' to zero out the scale.
7. Create a New Payload Template 1:30
-
Exit the calibration screen and click on the three dots on the left side.
-
Select 'Payload Spreading Template' and choose 'New Template'.
-
Name the template (e.g., 'CRP Seed').
-
Set the target amount (e.g., 9 pounds) and adjust the spinner disk speed to 1300.
8. Flow Calibration 2:11
-
Hit 'Flow Calibration' and ensure the correct hopper outlet is selected.
-
Start the calibration process, which will open the gate and measure the product flow.
9. Save Calibration Results 3:02
-
After calibration, a message will confirm completion.
-
Save the template and adjust any necessary settings.
10. Weight Calibration 3:30
-
Return to 'Spreader System Settings' and perform 'Weight Calibration'.
-
Ensure exactly 20 kilograms of product is in the tank before starting the calibration.
11. Finalize Calibration 3:48
-
Hit 'Start Calibration' and wait for confirmation that the calibration is complete.
Cautionary Notes
-
Always ensure the tank is empty before starting the calibration process to avoid errors.
-
Double-check that the spinner is functioning properly to ensure accurate calibration results.
Tips for Efficiency
-
Use a tote for stability during calibration to prevent spills.
-
Prepare all necessary tools (scale, bucket, etc.) before starting the calibration process to save time.
