Simplified Guide to Downgrading DJI Drone Firmware

1. Introduction

   • Purpose: Downgrade firmware for T40 drones experiencing issues.

   • Use DJI Beta account for the process.

2. Initial Setup

   • Turn on drone and controller, ensure they are linked.

   • Sign out of current account on the app.

3. Access DJI Beta Account

   • Please contact ASD Tech Support for login information.

   • Select default team.

4. Select Firmware Versions

   • Go to aircraft settings.

   • If dropdowns for controller and drone are not visible, restart the controller.

   • Wait for dropdowns to appear.

5. Downgrade Firmware

   • Select desired firmware versions for the controller and drone.

   • Confirm selections.

   • Choose to update all or update one at a time based on internet speed.

6. Precautions

   • Backup local app data like fields and maps to the cloud.

   • Upload any in-progress data to the cloud.

7. Complete Updates

   • Let the drone and controller go through the update process.

   • Once completed, log back into your account.

8. Final Steps

   • Exit profile, log in with your credentials.
