Troubleshooting AutoMixer Mixed Total Discrepancies

Objective:

To ensure accurate calibration of the auto mixer to prevent discrepancies between the displayed amount and the actual amount pumped.

Key Steps:

  1. Restart Mixer:

    • Unplug the mixer and plug it back in to resolve any lagging issues causing incorrect mixed volume readings.

  2. Manual Calibration:

    • Set the RPM to 50 on pump control.

    • Use a calibration pitcher with graduations for accurate measurements.

    • Start the pump and timer, and have the pump run with your given product for 1 minute at 50 RPM.

    • Input the data into the calibration settings menu for the given product, and in the 50 RPM column.

    • Repeat the process for 150 RPM and 300 RPM, adjusting the calibration settings accordingly.

Cautionary Notes:

  • Ensure the calibration pitcher is emptied before each measurement to avoid errors.

  • Double-check the data input into the calibration settings to ensure accuracy.

  • Watch for batch tank / chemical tanks emptying before the AutoMixer gives a warning.

Tips for Efficiency:

  • Use pitchers with the lowest markings for precise measurements, especially for small pumps.

  • Keep an eye on the mixer's performance to catch any slowdown issues that may affect calibration.

Do know that, while the display mixed volume may be inaccurate, the proportions between carrier and chemical should not be affected by the AutoMixer slow downs.
