Updating EAV RC Imagrey

Full Process of updating the map imagery on the EAV RC.

 

List of items we used in this video:

- Mavic 3M (Can be any drone / camera compatible with your chosen stitching program)

- Pix4D Fields (Used to complete the stitching portion)

- EAV CRM (https://web.eavtechus.com/wxCrm/#/)

- EAV J100 RC

Process:

  1. Fly a small camera drone and capture your imagery
  2. Import that imagery into a stitching program such as Pix4D Fields
  3. Stitch your imagery in the method of your chosen program (Only orthomosaic needed)
  4. Export your orthomosaic .tiff  (.data.tiff if using Pix4D Fields)
  5. Launch the EAV CRM and login (https://web.eavtechus.com/wxCrm/#/)
  6. Select "APPS" bottom middle
  7. Select "New" in the top right
  8. Fill in the required data fields for your image set
  9. Click "Upload Orthomosaic TIFF" (Find your .tiff and select it)
  10. Click "Authorization"
  11. Click "Confirm"
  12. Map instantly uploads to the cloud which can be used on any RC connected to your EAV account as long as it has internet!
** Imagery updating is complete.  Continue if you want to create a plot/map on that new image**
  1. Click "Enter Map"
  2. Change your "Map Source" at the top middle if you aren't currently under Google Maps
  3. Click "New Plot" on the bottom right
  4. Select your demand
  5. Drop points to create your plot
  6. Select "Upload Plot"
  7. Fill in required fields
  8. Plot instantly uploads to the cloud which can be downloaded onto any RC connected to your EAV account as long as it has internet!
