Completing the J100 Magnetic Compass Calibration

1. Preparation Steps

• Secure the Props:

  • Fasten the propellers to the drone arms using prop straps and zip ties.

  • Importance: Prevents props from moving during calibration, avoiding potential damage or injury.

2. Starting the Calibration Process

• Access Settings:

  • Navigate to the Settings tab located in the top right corner of the interface.

• Select Compass Calibration:

  • Scroll down to find the Compass calibration option.

• Initiate Calibration:

  • Click on "Start calibration" to begin the process.

3. Performing the Calibration

• Lift the Drone:

  • Once calibration preparation is complete, lift the drone off the ground.

• Horizontal Calibration:

  • Spin the drone in a counterclockwise motion.
