This article provides answers, and solutions to some of the most asked questions regarding the EAV J150
Question 1: What are some of the Key Differences from the J100?
- Bigger: Drone, Tank (20 Gallon), Spreader (180lbs capacity), Pumps, Nozzles, Battery, Swaths, and much more (Simply Bigger)
- Improved and newly designed Wiring System.
On the J150, everything connects to the CPU, so no more difficulty searching for what the problem exactly is based on what all is connected within that link, like on the J100 bus bar system. Now, when you get an Error, you will know exactly where the problem area is. - Added Top/Front Radar
The J150 utilizes the combination of Lidar, Upper/Front Radar, and Rear Radar. With this combination, spherical detection all the way around the drone is accomplished. Also this creates a fail-safe in front of the drone with the lidar and the front radar. - Completely new ESC and Motor Connection Design (This is a huge improvement from the design of the connections on the J100).

Question 2: What are the J150 specifications?
- 130 lbs without battery (battery adds an additional 45 lbs) --> 175 lbs total.
- 20 gallon spray tank
- Spray flow rate: 10.5 gal/min
- Adjustable droplet sizes from 10-300+ microns
- 180 pound spreader capacity
- Auger-fed
- Full, open top
- 45,000 mah
- 14s/58 volts
- Weighs 45 lbs
- 13,000 watts for fast charging, can be dialed down
- Up to 65 acres per hour at 2 GPA*
- 30 mph (45 feet per second) max spraying speed with full obstacle avoidance and terrain following enabled*
- Will spray a full tank out at 2 GPA in most situations
*During field testing, results may vary due to field conditions and firmware variations.

Question 3: Best practices and first-time use?
- Tests show 4 nozzles has better and wider pattern than 2 nozzles.
- Between 32-45 fps at 10 ft high and 2-5 gpa, tests show 35-40 ft swath, or wider.

- We have found it easiest to land the drone with the battery facing toward you and refill from the back of the drone. This makes battery swapping easier.
When traveling, fold up the arms and bungee them up.
- Rear arms can come out of the clamps because they are so heavy with the nozzles.
Update Firmware
- Ensure you are running the latest firmware versions on the J150.

Question 4: Can you plug each of the 30A leads from the charger into different generators?
- It is possible to run your J150 charger by plugging each of the 30A leads into different generators. However, in some cases, this can hinder the performance of your charger as most generators will all output wattage at a slightly different frequency due to slight differences between makes and models, wear on machines of the same make and model, or tolerance gaps on the same make and model of the same age. It is our recommendation to use one generator that has an average output of 18,000 running Watts and two separate 30A circuits.
Question 5: Can you adjust the power input (Watts) to the Charger based on generator capabilities?
- You can adjust the power input (Watts) to your J150 Charger. However, this will limit the Charge Speed and capabilities of the J150 Charging Station. The charger settings input watts can be adjusted between 10,000 Watts and 12,000 Watts.(It is our recommendation to use one generator that has an average output of 18,000 running Watts and two separate 30A circuits.)
